Morpho Season (New LP)

Morpho Season, the debut EP from the Chicago-based musician, Kristyn Chapman who records and releases under the Morpho moniker, is available as a limited edition light blue 12″” pressing via Hit the North Records. The five-track collection is mixed by Slow Pulp’s Henry Stoehr, sonically drawing on the sounds of Great Grandpa, Soccer Mommy and Ratboys. Morpho Season asserts Chapman as an astute guitarist, songwriter and vocalist, winding crunching guitar around glossy vocals.
