Sarah Jarosz’s Blue Heron Suite is a song cycle she composed after being the recipient of the Fresh Grass Composition Commission. Recorded in 2018 at Reservoir Studios in New York City, Jarosz is joined on the album by Jeff Picker on bass and Jefferson Hamer on guitar and harmony vocals.
