Slow Joy reminds us of the artistry that lies within everyone, ready to emerge with just a little patience. Singer-songwriter Esteban Flores is well-aware. The creative force behind Slow Joy, Flores saw the alternative rock project emerge as his full-time calling after the loss of a steady day job and while mourning the death of his mother. Now, the Dallas-based Flores is set to release one of 2025’s most compelling debut albums. The album-out 5/16 on Mick Music-is cleverly titled, A Joy So Slow At Times I Don’t Think It’s Coming.
